Our labour of love is encouraging local artists by providing venues to showcase their talent.

THE WHYTE AVENUE ART WALK - JULY

For three days in July, we transform Old Strathcona into an outdoor studio and market place. Last year was our biggest event with over 175 participating artists! Come help us inspire soon-to-be artists and create more art patrons.

THE PAINT SPOT'S OUTDOOR STUDIO

If you enjoy the Art Walk, you will love this opportunity. Artists are invited to paint, demonstrate and exhibit outside our store all summer. The Paint Spot provides excellent exposure for emerging and established artists. Call ahead to book your preferred dates: contact Joan.

OUR ARTIST REFERRAL SYSTEM is growing everyday. If you are interested in getting leads for commissions, murals, portraits and more, please send business cards. It's a good idea to create a brochure to help patrons understand your skills. Let us help promote you.

THE FRINGE GALLERY is fully supported by The Paint Spot and will continue under Sidsel Naess Bradley's curatorial eye.

WORKSHOPS

An intimate workshop area has been created behind our Fringe Gallery. Workshops are usually on Saturdays. Fees and times vary depending on instructor. Please indicate your interest and when we design a new schedule, we can contact you.
