Golden Acrylic Medium GOLDEN Mediums offer artists infinite control of changing acrylic colors. Use Mediums to control transparency, viscosity and surface sheen. GOLDEN Mediums can be thought of as colorless paints, as they are composed of similar polymers as are the acrylic paints. They are the "glue" or binder that dry to form continuous, durable films. They are made of 100% acrylic polymers, which have proven to have excellent flexibility and chemical, water and ultraviolet radiation resistance.

Tri-Art Acrylic Medium Gloss Polymer Medium
Tri-Art Gloss Polymer Medium is used for thinning and extending any viscosity of acrylic paint. This translucent medium dries to a clear, flexible glossy film which has excellent resistance to water and ultraviolet radiation. Its low viscosity makes it an ideal glazing medium and top coat. Gloss Polymer Medium is extremely adhesive and can be used in collage and craft applications such as decoupage. Gloss Polymer Medium can be added to resoluble water based paints such as watercolours and gouache to increase water resistance and flexibility.
Matte Polymer Medium
Tri-Art Matte Polymer Medium boasts the same handling and performance characteristics as the Gloss Polymer Medium but will dry to a matte finish. It can be used to decrease the gloss of Tri-Art Artist Acrylics and gloss mediums, and as a matte glazing medium. When a transparent ground is needed, Tri-Art Matte Polymer Medium can be used in the place of Gesso, and its tooth will increase adhesion.
