Description

Friday & Saturday, June 29 & 30     Fri: 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM; Sat: 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Planning your travels? Want to capture the fascinating places you’ll visit in pen & ink and watercolour? This is the class! This class is designed to equip you with a quick, observant style of drawing and invites you to explore the subjects you will want to capture while travelling. Learn what art supplies to take with you and how to use them to create memories you will treasure. Learn all this and more from a seasoned traveler and painter of great beauty!

Friday you will be introduced to the materials and methods that make for successful travel art. Saturday, you will both sketch your travel subjects: landscapes, buildings, markets, seascapes – depends on where you are and what you see! To complete your travel images you will learn to apply watercolour washes that bring your sketches alive with local colour and atmosphere.
