Tired of scrolling through Pinterest looking for that perfect project to bring back to your elementary school classroom? This session is just what the doctor ordered! Discover the endless possibilities of the art materials you already have on hand, experiment with new ones, and refill your bucket with some much-needed you-time.
Projects include watercolour landscapes, pastel portraits, and observational drawings.
Not only will you make your own art projects, you will also leave with inspiration, resources, tips, tricks, and techniques to take back to your classroom to help you with project planning and execution. You will:

About the Instructor: Emma’s love of art has taken her all over the world, culminating in a one-year residency in Paris, where she spent her days in museums and her nights eating French pastries. She is the founder and lead educator of ArtVentures, holds a Bachelor of Arts with Combined Honours in English and the History of Art, Design, and Visual Culture from the University of Alberta, and is passionately curious. Before founding ArtVentures, Emma’s years of experience at the Art Gallery of Alberta have provided her with countless opportunities to work with thousands of students in both gallery and studio settings.
