Instructor: Jeanine Alexander
Learn to use a folded pen to create wonderfully expressive alphabets. This pen lends itself to the spits and spatters that calligraphers love. We will explore colour blending techniques and work with white ink on black paper. This class will be a lot of fun for any level of calligrapher whether novice or practiced. Jeanine always receives great reviews from her students!
About the Instructor: Jeanine Alexander is an active member of the Edmonton Calligraphy Society. She was a founding member in 1986. She is an active volunteer in the Mill Woods community and has returned to teaching calligraphy and studying letters as an artform in her retirement
Supplies: You will receive a 20% discount on all art supplies from your registration until the end of class day!
Instructor provides: A folded pen, high-quality practice pad, and several project worthy papers are included in the Supply Fee. Small pots of walnut ink and Dr. Martins Bleed proof white will also be provided.
