Instructor: Shelly Banks
A simple image, well crafted, is a pleasure to make and a joy to look at. Here is an example of this truth that you can create yourself with Shelly Banks, an award-winning coloured pencil artist. There are specific techniques that, when you know how to use them, can give that ‘wow’ factor to each of your coloured pencil projects. Shelly will teach you all about the proper techniques of layering and blending. She will also talk about the types of paper that work best with this medium as well as how to use specific tools to help you through the process.
About the Instructor: Shelly is a coloured-pencil artist who also enjoys bookbinding and indigo dyeing. She is a member of the Edmonton Calligraphic Society. Her current passion is oil painting, but she paints in watercolour, too.
