Dive into Abstraction!

Sunday, October 20    12:00 PM - 5:00 PM

Instructor: Carly Gordon

How do you even learn abstract painting? Let’s dig into different techniques, methods, materials, and exercises to stretch our ways of creating and inspire new work. You will leave with dozens of new ‘tools’ in your kit, and a few exercises for letting the abstract work flow. This class is perfect for the artist who wants to take the next step past acrylic pouring, and dive into abstract mark making.

About the Instructor:  Carly Gordon is a Canadian landscape painter currently residing in Edmonton. She completed her Bachelor of Fine Arts with a major in Drawing and Painting from Ontario College of Art and Design University in 2015. Carly has been painting full time for several years now, and enjoys teaching workshops from Ontario to BC. She also loves working with young artists to provide guidance and inspiration for their art careers.
