Mondays, May 6, 13, & 27 and June 3 6:30 - 9:00 PM
Instructor: Chris Jugo
You picked up some fresh new pencils, papers and even treated yourself to that “artist grade” eraser but now what? In Drawing Foundations you will learn the skills and confidence to start your artistic journey. A dot on a page becomes alive when it becomes a line. Then the line becomes a shape that creates elegant forms to tell your story or perspective. Drawing Foundations will introduce to you the foundational elements and principals to bring a thought or idea into fruition. The class is open to any age and skill levels with topics range from drawing what you see, exploratory mark making/sketching techniques, perspective, composition, and tonal values.
About the Instructor: Born and raised in Edmonton, Chris Jugo is a graduate from MacEwan University’s Design Studies program majoring in Illustration and a practicing artist and fulltime graphic designer.
