Palette Knife Acrylic Portrait

Mondays, September 10, 17, & 24    6:00 PM - 8:30 PM

Instructor: Oksana Zhelisko

In this acrylic class series you will learn to use a palette knife as your main tool in creating an exciting, vibrant, textured portrait. You will create a one-of-a-kind masterpiece from the initial under-drawing to a finished painting. This class is perfect for painters who want to 'loosen up’ and explore the qualities of paint, while at the same time creating a representational image. Layering, scraping, hard-edge blocking, and texturizing will be used in the demos, so you will be learning many distinct methods of employing this very useful painting tool to great effect.
