Instructor: Francis Marte
Recommended for Beginners!
Who doesn’t love seeing a sunset by the ocean? Have you always wanted to learn how to paint such a beautiful scene in watercolour? The instructor will demo how to use a pouring technique to paint the skies, with minimal use of brush strokes. This is a cool way of painting using watercolours, and will introduce you to ‘watercolour speed painting.’
In this step-by-step class you will also learn to determine the crucial time to use the wet-on-wet technique, the salt technique, as well as layering, masking, taping, and dry brushing. That’s a lot of techniques you will learn in one class! After this class you will be more confident in painting future dramatic scenes using these techniques.
A photo reference will be provided by the instructor.
