Look at this glowing winter sunset! Learn to paint it in all its beauty, even if you are new to watercolour. The instructor will demo how to achieve a soft, luminous sky using the wet-on-wet technique while you learn how to mix the right colours, how to achieve the best paint consistency, and how to glaze at the right time. You will find out why glazing is an essential technique in achieving beautiful watercolour paintings. You will also learn how to use masking fluid, how to preserve areas the right way, and how to paint with a rigger brush with control. Learn how to pay attention to value and tone, and how to prep the finished painting for framing. You will follow a reference photo and work step by step under the guidance of your watercolour award winning instructor. This class is a perfect introduction to watercolour painting and will give you the confidence and the know-how you need to continue creating simple but dramatic scenes.
